Fitness Instructor

We have a unique opportunity for a Fitness Instructor with a Level 2 fitness qualification or higher education sport, fitness or leisure related degree who is dedicated in delivering memorable service to our guests all day every day.

As a Fitness Instructor you will support our guests and members in their commitment to healthy living. The Fitness Instructor is responsible for the programming of the fitness and wellness programs. This is a service based role to deliver exceptional fitness and wellness engagement to members and guests in line with the brand’s wellness concept. You will ensure a top-level offer in fitness and wellness and guide guests to reach their goals through wellness programming and personal training. You will also support in maintaining general housekeeping across all public areas including the wellness areas, changing rooms and pools.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury environment desirable
• A CIMSPA/nationally recognised level 2 fitness qualification or higher education sport, fitness, or leisure related degree required
• Experience in training and leading exercise on a 1:1 basis in an adult fitness setting, using proper form and spotting techniques
• Additional qualifications, eg Yoga, Boxcerise etc, would be an asset
• Experience in instructing and leading exercise in an adult fitness setting, using proper form and spotting techniques
• Experience in administering PAR-Q, health risk and history, wellness assessments, and client consultations would be an asset
• Capable and dedicated to delivering high levels of guest care
• A smart, polished and professional appearance
• A hands-on professional passionate and inspired by all things fitness and wellness related
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
