As a member of central finance team this role is responsible to deliver group accounting service including preparing, examining, and analysing financial reports, statements and records whilst ensuring full compliance with UK GAAP.
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Financial Accounting: Examine financial records and accounting statements, check for compliance with UK GAAP. Timely production of quarterly financial statements for the group entities. Ensure full review of trial balance. Maintain a monthly checklist of tasks completed and outstanding.
B. Year End Audits & Planning: Manage the year end audit of the group’s financial statements, which includes coordinating the preparation of the audit packs and schedules, managing the audit relationship, and resolving any issues arising from the field work and auditors.
C. Business Partnering: Expected to work as a business partner with all functions and divisions as appropriate and liaise with key functional individuals to provide technical statutory accounting input.
