Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for an innovative and passionate Digital Marketing Manager to join the Arora Group Marketing and Communications team. The group owns a portfolio of 12 hotels ranging from economy to luxury, and with this role is looking to deepen the marketing team’s digital expertise with the goal of increasing direct revenue from the owned websites.

This is an exciting new role within the company, which is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced digital marketing manager to make a real difference in an ambitious and growing hospitality company.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as a hands-on expert managing and executing the digital strategy across the company’s hotel websites with a key focus on driving conversion and direct revenue.
  • Continually audit and improve the content quality, accuracy, loading speed, user experience, design, structure, and conversion rates of all the websites.
  • Responsible for the SEO strategy to obtain strong organic rankings in major search engines like Google.
  • Oversee the brand-driven metasearch, PPC, remarketing and display advertising for a handful of hotels to ensure that the campaigns are optimised.
  • Calculate and report on ROI of all paid activity and support hotel teams with analytics insight where possible.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to management.
  • Work hand-in-hand with both the Arora Group and hotel marketing teams regarding overall content strategy, ideation and execution of plans and campaigns.
  • Work closely with several different global brand digital teams and their in-house website agencies to keep developing the websites where possible.
  • Where OTAs and GDS systems are used as part of the distribution mix, ensure that these channels are accurate and optimised, working in close collaboration with the revenue teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Support the development of the marketing plans for new hotel openings, driving cross department integration and collaboration.
  • Organic and paid social media and email marketing are not part of this role.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Professional track record of relevant hotel and/or travel digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated passion for digital marketing.
  • Educated to degree level or relevant digital marketing qualification.
  • Strong analytical skills, data driven thinking and solid knowledge of website analytics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of how to optimise digital strategy and conversion.
  • Robust understanding of SEO and its interaction with PPC and how to optimise Google Adwords campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of various content management systems and best practice across a range of hotel brand platforms.
  • Exceptional eye for detail in line with Arora Group’s and global hotel brands’ expectations.
  • Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other departments.
  • Self-motivated, strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to keep growing as a digital marketing professional.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
