Tax Manager

Great opportunity for the Tax Professionals!

We are seeking a talented and technically robust Tax Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of corporate tax and reporting across the Arora Group.

This role is varied and covers on corporate tax. property tax and VAT. the key responsiblities are working with the head of tax on managing:

  • Ensuring timely preparation and sbumission of all tax obligations across the group incluidng corporate tax, VAT and other tax obligations such as withholding tax returns and CIS.
  • Prepare month-end and year-en tax provisions for inclusion in management and statutory accounts and ensuring tax is reconciled to the submitted returns.
  • Preparing the relevant tax disclosurs in the annual statutory accounts
  • Working closely with the central finance team and tax advisors on projects and transactions
  • Involvement in tax planning inculding corportation interest restriction allocations, capital allowance claims, group relief and loss allocations.
  • Develop and implement startegic tax planning for the taxes relevant to the group.
  • To strenghtn the relevant tax controls and awareness within the business and managing the groups tax risk.
  • Liaising with HMRC on all correspondance.

 

Key Skills Required

  • Qualified ACA or CTA with strong tax compliance experience
  • Specific knowledge and exerience in corporate tax and VAT
  • Ideally have experience in the property sector
  • Experience of managing large complex groups
  • Demonstrate good accounding knowledge
  • Must be a self-starter, not afraid of working under pressure, and use their initiative to solve problems and suggest solutions.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ideally, able to use Alphatax
  • Minimum 2 year PQE
  • Will consider part time (ideally 4 days)
  • Fully office based.
